MY MUSIC - 'Throughout my entire learning experience so far I have learned so many amazing things. I have had some of the most amazing teachers. I truly admire each of them for the unique things they themselves have accomplished. All of them are so memorable, but there are a few that stick out in my mind. These people have helped me and are still helping me to achieve my goals. At the age of 9 I started to study with Richard Summers at the Toronto Guitar Institute. I was still studying classical guitar but soon after Rick introduced me to acoustic & electric guitar. My dad planted the seed as far as singing goes. I soon figured out that my singing needed some work. Elaine Overholt was there to help me out with that. With her influence I've discovered so many ways to use my voice. Shortly after that I started to study piano with Mickey Petkovski. He was able to show me different styles of playing. We went from Blues to Classical to Pop to Jazz. I've  learned from each of these styles.
